Notes

'Vivid Memories' peony (Paeonia 'Vivid Memories') is a shrub for borders, specimen plantings, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Yellow blooms with purple edges, salmon-pink shading, and maroon flares open in early to late spring and attract butterflies. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Derek Irvine bred it.

Pairs well with Cheyenne Spirit echinacea, Lily, Arabella clematis, and Bells of Ireland.
