Notes

'Voodoo' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Voodoo') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double flowers are silvery pink and stand on stems about 28 inches tall. They make good cut flowers. William Henry Krekler bred it, and Charles Klehm and Son Nursery introduced it in 1979.

Pairs well with Balloon flower, Sedge, and Japanese spirea.
