Notes

'Wansdyke Silver' American arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis 'Wansdyke Silver') is a tree for specimen planting, hedges, privacy screens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy or clay soil. It grows slowly into a dense, fragrant evergreen that attracts birds. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Its slow growth makes it easy to keep tidy.

Pairs well with Hoopsii Colorado spruce, Old Rose Dandy peony, and Red fescue.
