Notes

'Warai-jishi' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Warai-jishi') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. A Japanese breeder developed this cultivar. You can cut the blooms for bouquets and set them in a vase indoors.

Pairs well with Little Lime panicle hydrangea, Blue fescue, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
