'Weaver' Chinese dogwood (Cornus kousa 'Weaver') is a tree for borders, pollinator gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. White flowers open from spring into early summer and attract bees and birds. Deer tend to pass it by.
