Notes

'Wedding Day' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Wedding Day') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Roger F. Anderson bred it. Its pure white single blooms open all at once on top of self supporting stems, with dark green leaves below. The flowers have good substance and show off yellow stamens at midseason.

Pairs well with Incrediball hydrangea, Spanish bluebell, and Sensitive fern.
