Notes

Weeping forsythia (Forsythia suspensa) is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, hedges, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Yellow flowers cover the arching branches in early to late spring. Bees and birds visit it, and it grows fast. It sits low on the menu for deer.

Pairs well with Munstead lavender, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Ornamental onion, and Autumn fern.
