Notes

'Weisse Gloria' astilbe (Astilbe rosea 'Weisse Gloria') is a perennial for borders, shade gardens, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to wet, loamy soil. It forms a clumping mound and attracts butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Give it room to spread slowly in the bed.

Pairs well with Columbine, Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta, and Cinnamon fern.
