Notes
White blue-eyed grass (Sisyrinchium albidum) is a perennial for meadow plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). The plant forms a stiff, grass-like clump that grows 8 to 15 inches tall. Star-like flowers with six petals and yellow centers open in loose clusters at the top of each stem. They bloom in early to late spring and into early summer.
Pairs well with Big bluestem, Evening primrose, and Cosmos.
