Notes

'Blue Note' blue-eyed grass (Sisyrinchium angustifolium 'Blue Note') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows in a clump, blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, and attracts bees. Deer tend to pass it by. It tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Butterfly milkweed, Little bluestem, and Annabelle hydrangea.
