Notes

'Lucerne' blue-eyed grass (Sisyrinchium angustifolium 'Lucerne') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows in clumps with blue flowers in spring and again in summer, and bees visit the blooms. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Sundrops, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Blue sage.
