Notes

'White Cloud' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'White Cloud') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The Japanese type flowers open pale flesh and straw yellow, then age to white. The tall, upright stems are good and sturdy. Edward Auten, Jr bred it.

Pairs well with Bloodroot, Cinnamon fern, Pink Impression tulip, and American cranberrybush.
