Notes

'White Gold' red twig dogwood (Cornus sericea 'White Gold') is a shrub for borders, hedges, privacy screens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast and has an erect habit. Bees, butterflies, and birds visit it in spring and summer. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Common snowberry, Switchgrass, and Hummingbird sweet pepperbush.
