Notes

'White Gull' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'White Gull') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It is a Japanese type peony. A double row of broad, rounded white petals surrounds a cushion of yellow stamens with red stigmas. David C. Stranger bred it.

Pairs well with Gooseneck loosestrife, Dalmatian bellflower, and Prairie dropseed.
