Notes
'White Knight' weigela (Weigela Florida 'White Knight') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimens, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Fragrant white flowers appear in spring and again in summer, and they draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer rarely make it their first choice. The arching shrub reaches 48 to 60 inches tall and 60 to 72 inches wide.
Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Ornamental onion, and Paperbark maple.
