Notes

'White Pearl' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'White Pearl') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The extra early, full double blooms open in early to mid spring as pearly shell-pink with a slight lavender cast. They fade to white in full sun. Edward Auten, Jr bred it.

Pairs well with Lady's mantle, Miss Kim lilac, Sensitive fern, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
