Notes
'White Surprise' caryopteris (Caryopteris clandonensis 'White Surprise') is a shrub for borders, containers, and xeriscape gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Its fragrant flowers attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. It is also drought tolerant. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.
