Notes

'Whitleyi' peony (Paeonia 'Whitleyi') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Its loose, globular, milk white blooms are fragrant and attract bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Whitley originated it in 1808.

Pairs well with Rainforest Sunrise hosta, Limelight hydrangea, and Black Hero tulip.
