Notes
'Will Goodwin' clematis (Clematis 'Will Goodwin') is a vine for containers, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. Lavender blue flowers with golden stamens draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Walter Pennell bred it. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.
Pairs well with Jane magnolia, Garden phlox, and Paris coral bells.
