Notes

'Wind Chimes' peony (Paeonia 'Wind Chimes') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The fragrant lavender flowers are single and resemble a windflower, and bees and butterflies visit them. The attractive seed pods work well in dried arrangements.

Pairs well with Halcyon hosta, Queen of Night tulip, Christmas fern, and Miss Kim lilac.
