Notes

Winged-stem passion flower (Passiflora alata) is a vine for borders, containers, and food gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. The fragrant flowers attract butterflies, and the vine stays evergreen. Deer tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan vine, Kahili ginger, and Mexican bush sage.
