Notes

'Winnipeg' tulip (Tulipa 'Winnipeg') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It blooms from early to late spring. The flowers reach about 12 inches tall, so plant it near the front of a bed or in a pot.
