Notes

'Winter Sun' rose (Rosa 'Winter Sun') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Light yellow, fragrant blooms open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Tim-Hermann Kordes bred it in 2009.

Pairs well with Lanceleaf coreopsis, Clematis, Cornflower, and Greig's tulip.
