Notes

'Wisconsin Queen' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Wisconsin Queen') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows about 28 inches tall and has strong stems that hold up the heavy white blooms. Each stem carries one bud, and the flowers open in mid to late spring. Roy G. Klehm bred it, and Klehm's Song Sparrow Perennial Farm introduced it in 2003.

Pairs well with Miss Kim lilac, Arizona Sun blanket flower, and Cinnamon fern.
