Notes
'Wisley Queen' Chinese dogwood (Cornus kousa 'Wisley Queen') is a tree for borders and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It blooms in early to late spring and draws bees and birds. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Plan for slow growth and an erect shape.
Pairs well with Autumn fern, Queen of Night tulip, and Great blue lobelia.
