Notes
'Wisley Supreme' Chinese witch hazel (Hamamelis mollis 'Wisley Supreme') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its pale yellow blooms are fragrant and attract birds. It grows slowly, so give it room to reach its full size. Deer tend to browse other plants first.
Pairs well with Autumn fern, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Green Velvet buxus.
