Notes

'Little Suzie' witch hazel (Hamamelis virginiana 'Little Suzie') is a shrub for borders, specimen plantings, winter interest, and woodland gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, clay soil. Yellow, fragrant flowers open in early to late autumn and again in early to late winter, and bees visit the blooms. Deer tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Common snowberry, Wild ginger, Switchgrass, and Carlton daffodil.
