Notes
'Wonderous Light' peony (Paeonia 'Wonderous Light') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Single light yellow blooms with crimped petals attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Roger F. Anderson bred it.
Pairs well with Eastern columbine, Earth Angel hosta, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Little Beauty tulip.
