Notes
'Wonderous Scrunch' peony (Paeonia 'Wonderous Scrunch') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, blush to cream single blooms have soft lavender flares and attract butterflies and bees. Plants stand upright to 30 inches and need no support. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.
Pairs well with Goldsturm black-eyed Susan, Prairie dropseed, and Fire Island hosta.
