Notes
'Wonderous Shine' peony (Paeonia 'Wonderous Shine') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, double, light yellow blooms are 5½ inches wide and sit one to a stem. Upright stems reach 30 inches and need no support. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.
Pairs well with Fire Island hosta, Prairie dropseed, and Black Hero tulip.
