Notes

'Woodbridge' rose of sharon (Hibiscus syriacus 'Woodbridge') is a shrub for hedges and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet soil. It sits low on the menu for deer. It grows fast and has an erect shape, so it fills a hedge line quickly. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit it, and it tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Goldenrod, Lily, and American holly.
