Notes
'Xiao Xiangfei' peony (Paeonia 'Xiao Xiangfei') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Fragrant, semi-double yellow flowers with purplish-red flares open in spring and attract butterflies. Lianying Wang bred it.
Pairs well with Jeana garden phlox, Green Spice coral bells, and Lily.
