Notes

'Xiaoling' peony (Paeonia 'Xiaoling') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The fragrant, semi-double flowers are pink and cream with dark red flares, and they attract butterflies. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Franklin and Angela Chow bred it.

Pairs well with Green Spice coral bells, Foxglove, Blue fescue, and Lily.
