Notes
'Yamato Tsukasa' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Yamato Tsukasa') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, rose pink flowers open in mid to late spring and have a Japanese form. Blush pink staminodes fill the center of each bloom. The plant stays compact and medium in size.
Pairs well with Coralbells, Carnation, Cinnamon fern, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
