Notes

'Yankee Point' California lilac (Ceanothus 'Yankee Point') is a shrub for borders, hedges, specimen planting, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Fragrant flowers bloom in spring and again in summer. They draw butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds.

Pairs well with Sensation lilac, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Pyrethrum.
