Notes

'Yellow Fever' magnolia (Magnolia 'Yellow Fever') is a tree for specimen planting, privacy screens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It bears fragrant yellow blooms in early to late spring. Bees visit the flowers, and birds visit the tree. The evergreen leaves keep the tree full all year.

Pairs well with Serviceberry, Curly Fries hosta, and Stargazer lily.
