Notes
'Yellow Heaven' peony (Paeonia 'Yellow Heaven') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The fragrant yellow flowers have red blotches in the center and attract butterflies and bees. Toichi Itoh bred it.
Pairs well with August Moon hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Carlton daffodil.
