Notes

Yellow trumpets (Sarracenia alata) is a perennial for containers and as a specimen. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and moist to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its hollow leaves form pitchers that trap insects, which the plant breaks down and partly absorbs. Yellow flowers hang downward on leafless stems in spring and draw bees.

Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Blue star creeper, and Snake's head.
