Notes

'Yellow Waterlily' peony (Paeonia 'Yellow Waterlily') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large light yellow blooms have lavender flares and petals like those of a water lily. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Roger F. Anderson bred it.

Pairs well with Hosta, Phantom panicle hydrangea, Stargazer lily, and Indian grass.
