Notes

'Yes We Can' peony (Paeonia 'Yes We Can') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The red semi-double flowers have a wreath of stamens and attract butterflies and bees. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The woody stems stand over winter, so you can cut them back in spring.

Pairs well with Big Daddy hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Blanket flower.
