Notes
'Ying Se' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Ying Se') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Semi-double pink flowers open in early to late spring and are fragrant. The plant stands upright and reaches about 100 cm tall. Its name comes from the delicate pink color, like cherry blossoms in spring.
Pairs well with Iris, Prairie dropseed, and Grape hyacinth.
