Notes

'Yoochi-no-tsuki' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Yoochi-no-tsuki') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large blush pink flowers open in mid season. They have a Japanese type form with white staminodes and no pollen. The plant is medium size and spreads, so give it room.

Pairs well with Fire Island hosta, Little bluestem, and Garlic chives.
