Notes
'Yosemite Gold' satsuma (Citrus unshiu 'Yosemite Gold') is a fruit tree for the food garden. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun. The fruit has a golden orange rind and seedless flesh that is sweet with mild acidity. It peels easily, and white blooms open in spring and summer.
Pairs well with Hachiya persimmon, Lemon grass, and Natchez crape myrtle.
