Notes

Satsuma (Citrus unshiu) is a fruit for containers and food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Its evergreen leaves and fragrant flowers add beauty all year. Bees visit the blooms, and the tree can reach about 10 to 15 feet tall. The fruit is grown for fresh eating.
