'China Satsuma S-2' satsuma (Citrus unshiu 'China Satsuma S-2') is a fruit for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun. It grows into an evergreen shrub with white, fragrant flowers and sweet, juicy, seedless, bright orange fruits. Give the leaves and fruit overhead protection in winter.

Pairs well with Fuyu persimmon, Lemongrass, Jasmine, and Purple sage.
