Notes
'Zara' gladiolus (Gladiolus 'Zara') is a bulb for borders and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy soil. The fragrant red blooms open from early to late summer on stems about 37 inches tall. Bees visit the flowers, and the cut stems work well in a vase. Fa. Exclusief bred it.
Pairs well with Bigleaf hydrangea, Mondo grass, and Spurge.
