Notes
'Zelta Adata' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Zelta Adata') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Pink anemone flowers open in mid to late spring and have a high degree of fragrance. Cream-white staminodes contrast with the wavy, crinkled petals. The upright plants reach about 31 inches and need no support.
Pairs well with Dutchman's breeches, Ostrich fern, Blue sage, and Pearly everlasting.
