Notes
'Zi-Die-Feng' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Zi-Die-Feng') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It has a spreading habit with many branches. The round peach flowers are violet red, with soft, flat petals that wave in the breeze. Strong stems hold the blooms above the leaves.
Pairs well with Weigela, Blue grama, Stargazer lily, and Wild ginger.
