Notes
'Zi Yue Guang' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Zi Yue Guang') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The semi-double flowers are medium violet-red with white petal margins and face upward. The white edges shine in sunlight like moonlight. The upright plants reach about 33 inches and need no support.
Pairs well with Great blue lobelia, Woolly yarrow, and Ostrich fern.
