Notes
'Zlatičko' peony (Paeonia 'Zlatičko') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The medium-sized yellow double flowers open in midseason, with one bloom per stem. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The short stems need no support, and William J. Seidl bred it.
Pairs well with Hosta, Stargazer lily, Switchgrass, and Phantom panicle hydrangea.
